Hey there! I'm Nate—a design engineer focused on craft, clarity, and empowering human creativity through better developer tools. You likely know me as a co-creator of Astro (2021 – 2024), the original architect of the .astro compiler and designer of the npx create astro CLI. Prior to that, I built Microsite (2020), the first framework built on islands architecture.
Today, I maintain Sentry’s design system (2024 – ), lead the Bombshell open-source project for CLI/TUI development, and am hoping to launch LGTM Supply Co., an apparel brand for open-source developers.
