Version 0.0.421 hangs on prompt for asking permissions

Describe the bug

Just installed 0.0.421. The agent asks me to allow an MCP tool call, but I cannot move the selection, select current or esc - it feels like it hangs. Ctrl-C does not work too. The only way to stop it is to close the terminal window.

Affected version

GitHub Copilot CLI 0.0.421.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. New session, select agent and model. Do not "allow all".
2. Started a task with "/fleet" modifier.
3. Got a request to allow tool usage - cannot approve.

Expected behavior

I expect that menu works and I can either approve or forbid the tool.

• Running in Windows Terminal
• Model - Opus 4.6

Checked in Warp - the same behavior. As expected, this problem extends to any case when model asks something - askQuestion tool included.

Tried with experimental features ON and OFF - the behavior does not change.
