"Error: write EIO" when using copilot --resume

Describe the bug

Seeing error message when resuming chat using copilot --resume. Have not seen any visible impact due to the error so far.

Affected version

copilot --version GitHub Copilot CLI 0.0.420.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. start a chat
2. exit out of the chat
3. run "copilot --resume"
4. select the previous chat from the list
5. you will resume the chat but see the error "✗ Error: write EIO" on top of the chat box

Expected behavior

no error should be seen. If the error is valid, it should be thoroughly explained.

Additional context

• ubuntu 20.04
• 2 MCP servers connected
• model= opus 4.6. Haven't tested with other models.
