Is the FriendlyElec's NanoPC-T6 Plus SBC compatible with Armbian's NanoPC-T6 / NanoPC-T6 LTS images ?

not really an official communication, but its true that label "sponsored article" is lost in the pull from a blog. This needs to be fixed ...

Now I see a problem providing sponsored posts, which will certainly have a lot of BS in the future (this is second sponsored post we made / it was provided for free as a promotion of this service). This should be very clear that this has nothing to do with us - its a way for us to pay some of the bills.

(shameful) Sponsor BS aside; The "plus" version needs to be vendor-kernel'led first. Changes seem simple enough (friendlyarm/kernel-rockchip@524e3e0) and mostly revolve around the sound chip, as the usb+regulator changes look to me similar to what was already done for the "LTS" incarnation (https://github.com/friendlyarm/kernel-rockchip/blob/nanopi6-v6.1.y/arch/arm64/boot/dts/rockchip/rk3588-nanopi6-rev07.dts) ( <&gpio1 RK_PA4 GPIO_ACTIVE_HIGH> + u2phy3_host ).

That said: have the sponsor send us some boards, at least.

In practice: it should mostly work with existing T6/T6-LTS images, maybe missing some USB port and the audio.
