Board Temp and humidity spikes on wake

The board temp and humidity sensors report two values during a single wake period (about 15s) apart. The two values differ by a fair amount leading to weird spiky graphs in HA:

The initial report is probably more accurate (the initial board temp is fairly close to the external sensor). I expect that the subsequent report is off due to board heating.

Would it be possible to just report the initial value?

Thanks for letting us know. That is odd behavior for sure, it shouldn't differ by that much that quickly I wouldn't think.

Are you on the latest firmware? 25.3.5.1 is current, at some point we made some improvements to wake up values ( although it was reporting like 186f because the sensor wasn't awake yet )

Yup, I'm on 25.3.5.1.
I definitely saw the 186f thing before I updated:)

I have not seen this behavior no - @jjhuff is this a temp-1 or temp-1b? can you share your sleep/wake settings for us to try and duplicate?
